Terms
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms apply when you use Padelent, at padelent.com and in the Padelent app. Please read them before you create an account. If anything is unclear, email info@padelent.com.
1. Who we are
Padelent is a trading name of Piers Berrington, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. "We", "us" and "our" mean Padelent. You can contact us at info@padelent.com.
2. What Padelent is
Padelent is an online marketplace that connects padel players with padel coaches for video lessons. A player sends a coach clips of their game, and the coach replies with personal video feedback.
Coaches on Padelent are independent. They are not our employees. Each lesson is an agreement between the player and the coach, and we run the platform, take payments and handle support.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- Give accurate details and keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per person. Coaches must apply and be approved by us before they appear on Padelent.
4. Lessons
Coaches choose which lesson options they offer:
- Free trial lesson. One per player with each coach, at no cost.
- Single lesson. One lesson at the price shown on the coach's profile.
- Monthly plan. A monthly subscription with a set number of lessons a week, at the price shown on the coach's profile. Monthly plans will be available once card payments are live.
After a coach replies, you can keep chatting about the lesson until the coach closes it.
Coaching is advice based on the clips you send. We do not promise any particular result.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are set by each coach and shown in pounds on their profile before you book. Payments are taken securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Padelent keeps a platform fee of 20% of each lesson price, and the rest is paid to the coach.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- No reply after 7 days. If your coach has not replied to your lesson within 7 days of you booking it, email us and we will give you a full refund.
- Your right to cancel. Under UK consumer law you can cancel a lesson within 14 days of booking. When you book, you ask for the lesson to start straight away. If you cancel before the coach starts on your lesson, you get a full refund. Once the coach has delivered your lesson, you can no longer cancel it.
- Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and it stops at the end of the month you have paid for.
- If something has gone wrong with a lesson, email us and we will look into it fairly. This does not affect your legal rights.
7. Rules for coaches
- Your profile, qualifications and experience must be accurate and honest.
- Reply to lessons properly and treat players with respect.
- Keep bookings and payments for players you meet through Padelent on Padelent. Do not take them off the platform.
- You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance on what you earn.
8. Rules for everyone
- Be respectful. No abuse, harassment, spam or anything unlawful.
- Only upload videos you have the right to share. Do not upload videos of other people, including children, without their permission.
- Reviews must be honest and about a real lesson.
We can remove content, or suspend or close an account, if these terms are broken.
9. Your videos and content
You keep ownership of the videos and messages you upload. You let us store them and show them to the other person in your lesson so the lesson can happen. We will not use your videos for anything else, such as marketing, unless you give us permission first.
Reviews are shown publicly on the coach's profile with your first name and initial.
10. Health and safety
Padel is a physical sport. Only try drills and changes you feel fit and able to do, and get medical advice if you have an injury or health condition. Coaches cannot see you in person, so use your own judgement.
11. Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep Padelent running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free from errors.
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
12. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing info@padelent.com.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Padelent grows. If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies.
14. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
